Good adjustable control arms with greasable Johnny joints?
Hey guys,
The adjustable control arms that came with my lift kit have graphite-impregnated heim joints that are maintained by occassionally adding a few drops of 3 - in - 1 oil. While changing out all my control arm bolts, I noticed that the heim joints have no play - the joint is very hard to rotate. I've been thinking about changing out my control arms with some that have greasable johnny joints instead. I like the design of the joint, and I like that it's rebuildable.
So my first question is: should the heim joint be as difficult to rotate as it is?
Also, what are some good brands that make adjustable, greasable control arms with Johnny joints instead of heim joints?
Thanks!
Micah
