Default Tires, help meout here!

Ok so I think that I have narrowed down my tire choices. I chose these after reading reviews for open country a/ts where people were stating that they had horrible tread life and that was the only a/t i was really interested in. Im trying buy the quietest of these tires that will give me the best tread life with tread life being more important. As of now my choices are DC Mud Country, KM2, MTR/k, and Cooper STT. Im just looking for some more input cause im nervous about spending that much $$ for something I dont have alot of experience with. Before everyone screams nitto toyo nitto toyo, none of thier tires im interested in come in 35x12.50x15 so theyre out. Also I prefer to be able to run top down on the highway without becoming fully deaf Thanks guys and gals

HELP ME!!!!

Take a look at the Hankook Dynapro MTs. I run them in a 33x12.5x15 and find them to be fairly quiet and great looking. I believe they come in the 35 you are looking for as well.

I work at DTC discount tire co and if your looking into 35/1250 I'd go with the STT Tec3 coopers one of the best out there and very quiet or the druatrac 315 70 it's like 34 3/4 tall just a tad under your "35s" just to open your options and 315 are cheaper

I put on Mud Claws, 35x17. I am more pleased with them than I thought I would be. I have only had the chance to use them a couple of times in the hills. They did fine on snow and mud, but not well on crystalized snow.

As well, they are more quiet than I thought they would be and handle just fine on the street. I would not want them for a DD of any great distance.

Bottom line, all ratings are opinions by others. You may have to pick the ones you like the most and go for it.

I wanted a good inexpensive tire. I have it with the Mud Claw. About 50 bucks a tire cheaper.

I'm not so sure on size availability... but I've got PRO COMP Extreme A/T's and they are great. I can't attest to tread wear wince i've only had them a short time... but the road noise is very good and they look very agressive. I can tell you that the jeep had BF goodrich mud terrains on it and the NOISE and RIDE was HORRIBLE...

I believe they were poorly rotated prior to me taking ownership but still... the noise was awful even with the hard top on.
