Default 2012 jk unlimited mods

Wondering if anyone else out there has any other way other than exhaust spacers or a new driveline to get around the problem with lifting these? And if u have any other cool mods let me in on them, I'm starting from scratch and wanna "do it right" the first time

If you lift it high enough to have a problem, then buy a driveshaft to fix it. That is doing it right.

I think AEV sells a new Y pipe but if you're going to spend that much you might as well go with a drive shaft.

Well that's part of my problem, the axle is $700 here in Canada and the spacers are $30, I'm looking at about a 4-5 inch lift with 35's or 37's will I even need to do the mods?

I have the 2 inch budget boost and just ordered the rugged ridge exhaust fix for 23 shipped from ebay... cheap peace of mind if you ask me. Looks like a simple install and it is one less thing to worry about.

Nice! I'll have to look into that, have u ever heard of a video or know of anyway to get the shifter knob off on the 2012 automatic model? I just ordered one and I'm still screwin around with it? The only one I have found so far is a video on YouTube and its for an older model?
