Default pro comp extreme a/t

Who else is running some of these? (pro comp extreme a/t)

I just installed some and am just wondering on what everyone's experience has been? I have been VERY happy with the look and road noise but am interested in what you guys got as far as treadlife?

Thanks!

I've got the extreme at but if I had it to do over again I would probably go with something else. Don't get me wrong, they are a good tire, good looks, and I think mine came with 40k mile warranty. I've had really good traction with them, even on ice. Last winter a truck spun out inches from my front bumper. I hit the brakes and could feel the tires grabbing at the ice, several inches thick, with minimal slippage while the car in front of me bounced off the siderails and on down the highway at 40mph.

However, the other day someone decided to puncture the sidewalls on three of them They also got one on my other jk which has BigO tires, I forget which ones though. The BigO tire just looked low on air but the pro comp was flat as a pancake.

The sidewalls on the extreme at just seem thin to me and might be something to think about if you leave the pavement. This particular jk is my dd and I had about 20k miles when they got slashed; could have got another 20k miles if it weren't for that. I stuck with the extreme at because I still had two good tires, including the spare, that I didn't want to pay to replace yet and like I said, they are a good tire. Thin sidewalls make me nervous is all...

I ran them for a couple of years... they are a good tire... my only issue with them is, they are a directional tire, so it makes rotating them correctly a PITA.

I have them too and so far they have been a great tire as far as traction and overall all-season performance, like said previously the only thing i dont like is that they are directional so if you want to do a proper rot/bal you have to break them down and re-mount and no one wants to do that.

Luckily the reputable 4 wheel shop i got the work done in offers free life time tire rotation. But thank you so much for that because no i will be sure to mention that they need to be rotated PROPERLY!
