Default Cant decide on aftermarket Wheels and Tires! Looking for opinions

Hey guys, so this is my first ever forum post, so forgive me if this is in the wrong place or I do something I'm not supposed to on here. I've heard people can get pretty nasty on these. But please bear with me!

So I just bought a new 2012 Wrangler Sport last month and I HAVE to put aftermarket wheels and tires on it because the stocks are hideous!
I am looking to do 18" wheels with 33's.

The jeep is black and I am DEFINITELY doing black rims because I love the look but I am having a hard time finding some that I like that I can be CERTAIN will fit. My biggest issue right now is ensuring that the wheels I get will have backspacing that will work with the stock suspension. I may lift the jeep eventually, but for now, I want to try to fit the 18's and 33's without lifting.

I've read that I shouldn't go any bigger with backspacing than 4.5 but I guess I was just hoping someone could confirm/deny this.

Thanks for any help on it! Oh and also, if you have or know of any sick pictures of black on black wranglers (2 door) you can feel free to post them. I always like to see what other people have come up with!

Thanks guys!

Go with 17s or 16s and 33s, the prices of tires and wheels will be cheaper and there will be a much larger selection for all tire sizes. Also go with a wheel that has at least a 4.75 backspacing. If you ever want to go larger just go for the 4.25 or 4.5 backspacing. Go with and alloy wheel it will be lighter than going with the steel keeping gas milage up on road

these are 35 x12.5 on 17s Feirce Attitude M/T

Just a tip, do with it what you want, but stay with 17's and you'll not only have more tire and wheel choices, but better prices. The selection of 18's is nowhere near as good as 17's.

I personally like 15" rims. I am old school though. I am looking at some 15's with 35's.

I would agree with staying away from the 18 inch rims. My freinds truck had 18 inch rims and he hated them because the tire selection was very limited. I personally like the AEV rims but I may not like what you like. I too like 15 inch rims mainly because the tires are so much cheaper than 16 and 17 inch tires.
