Default New Shoes tomorrow! quick question

my jk gets new tires tomorrow (295/70r17) toyo open country mt's!

i was planning on getting new wheels at the same time but unforeseen circumstances (gashed my sidewall last night) has made me need to get the tires sooner then planned.... so the wheels will come in a few months

my question is, im still running the stock 17" wheels so will i need to run wheel spacers until i get my new wheels with a better backspacing?

the tires measure out to about 33.5x12 unmounted

I wont be doing any heavy offroading for awhile but i am planning on going to the sand dunes this weekend, more importantly i want to make sure ill be ok for daily driving because i can wait a few weekends before playing

~if there is a thread on this already im sorry, the search appears to be broken over here :/

There was a set of spacers for sale on here yesterday. Should still be available cheap.

However, if you are just going to run as a daily driver then you might be ok without spacers for now. Just dont turn real tight. But something to remember is that mount&balance will run you $25-30/tire. Do this twice and you are at the same cost as a set of steal wheels now. And if you are set on that perfect wheel then the interest on the CC is still less than the cost to remount... If you can honestly pay it off in a few months.

What size tire are you running now? If it's stock, why not just replace the bad one with a take-off from someone else and get the wheels and tires you want when you are ready? I'm no stranger to immediate gratification, (that's why I have 33's right now) so I understand if you just really want to put the tires on. I'm just putting that out there as an option.

I live in the mountains but I can take easier ways home until I get my new wheels

And my mount and balances are free, basically everything except the tires and wheels are free no matter what, they even are giving me the 5th free. I really can't afford the wheels I want right now (going to be picky) because I just got a new apartment in town to save myself from as much mountain driving when I go to work. I enjoy being debt free and will keep it that way unless emergencies pop up

Yes you will want to get some spacers. I recommend Spidertrax

Call or PM he Rough Country rep on here an you can get a set of 4 shipped to your door for ~$120. Took about 2-3 days to get to my house in the middle of nowhere.

Great set of spacers, same as the more expensive ones just not blue or red, shiny silver they are.
