Default 4.75" backspacing vs 4.25" backspacing

In a nutshell, I'm currently running 1.5" wheel spacers that give me a bs of 4.75" effective on stock 16" Mopar alloys.
Been toying with the idea of maybe running 2" wheel spacers that would give me 4.25" worth of equivalent bs.

I've ruled out new rims that would give me same or 4" of bs.

I'm doing this for clearance as my front right tire rubs on my stowed away TF quick disconnects whenever I'm unhooked and wheeling on the trails. Does it so much that the coating is worn off that disconnect and after a nice salt winter its got surface rust where its bare.

But the cost for .5 inch of push out is it really worth it and is the visible change evident you think?

No rubbing issues on the street...maybe I'll just stay sway bar connected on the trails from now on because mabe flex isn't all that?
