Default Dog leash/Hitch receiver Idea

While vacationing this week in the Outer Banks, I came upon an idea to keep my dog secure while out on the beach. I did a quick search on the forum to make sure this hasn't been discovered yet. Using my hitch receiver and pin, I took the loop handle of my dog's leash and secured it with the hitch retaining pin. Kept my dog secure when we were talking a break from the water play and kept my hands free for a cold one. Also included a couple other pics from that day at the beach.

That's also a great way to attach your tow strap, very strong.

I hook the leash up to my hitch mount tow hook all the time.

Good idea. I use the tow hook sometimes when I have to zip up the rear window after unloading the dog at the off leash area.
