Default Poison Spyder hood louver anyone?

Im about ready to pull the trigger on this, but I did some homework and read about an isolated incident of someone having an issue where water damage occurred and the jeep went all crazy and wouldn't start.

Anyone here running this unit? I really wanna do this but I got a little freaked out reading that.

Yes, but that doesn't mean I have to only wheel there or I can't ever travel.

It's on the top if your hood. Hope you don't plan on hitting water that hard.

Got it and love it. It has been on for 3 months in all forms of weather. No problems except that the Jeep runs cooler when rock crawling.

If you will read the entire post on the forum that talks about the issue with water, it wasn't the water that caused the problem. He had an issue with a dash pack going bad and the dealer replaced his dash under warranty. Next time read the entire thread and you will have your question answered. And yes, that is also my white jeep in the pictures on the saidsame thread you are referencing.

Thank you for the only useful post in this thread. Now I'm confident enough to order one hearing feedback from someone who actually runs one.
