What are your thoughts as to taking off the nerf bars/side steps before wheelin'. I am thinking about getting some rock rails and I was wondering if any of you switch between rails and steps. Thanks in advance.

You don't switch, too much wasted time and effort. Get a set of rock sliders with steps.

 

you don't even have to remove them. wheel with them. they'll be gone soon enough.

 

if you rock crawl at all, they will be broken

otherwise i think you can get away with them on

 

Smart people take them off while they're still purdy, and sell them on ebay...and use the $ to defray the cost of real sliders.

Otherwise, you break the foo foo steps, and then have no steps, and no $ for sliders.
