Default Cheapest way to re-gear 3.21 to 4:10

Hey guys, i currently have a 2012 2 door running 33's on 3.21's have kind of noticed that 6th is useless, whats the cheapest way to upgrade to a 4.10 gear ratio without breaking the bank? Any input would be great.

Honestly, aftermarket 4.10's will be hard to find and expensive if you do. I would look at 4.56 or 4.88. Will give you better performance too

Check around with local shops for the best deal AND qualified techs. Just had mine done from 3.73 to 5.13 (35's and auto tranny) and what a difference! Best money I have spent.

Have you searched for local shops that are familiar with this kind of work and asked for quotes? As I've been told by others, contact David from Northridge 4x4 and see what can do for you with purchasing gears. Regearing is something that should not be based on what's the cheapest, but I understand the importance

You think your '12 is bad with 3.21's and 33's you should take my '07 for a spin! If you want to only go to 4.10's you can do what I did and just keep your eye on the For Sale section. I picked up a newish set of 4.10 take offs from another member here CHEAP. just have to get off my ass now and install them.

This is what i was thinking of doing with mine. Can you take the gears from a rubi and put them in an x model?

Yep sure is. Guess I need to read the whole post. Honestly if you plan on sticking with 33's, I wouldn't bother with the regear. There are people running 37's with only the 4.10's

For the rear axle, yes (as long as it's just the gears and not the differential). For the front axle, no.
