Now, I have buddy who drives an '08 or '09 and can hose out his interior after trail runs and have no problems. He drives it topless in the rain and his rig dries an hour later. I have a '12 and it seems that it can't handle any sorta water. I parked at a house and sprinklers shorted out all my dash electronics.
Is Chrysler getting cheap nowadays?
Can anyone chime in and tell me what's up? Much thanks

 

The sad reality is as our Jeeps become more car like they lose the ruggedness of past models. More electronics = more problems, good for comfort but far from durable. Dont get me wrong I like all of the advances the 11 and 12 models brought but I would still only buy a pre 11 model just because I ride doors an top off regardless from May thru October and the new advancements cant handle they way I live with my jeep.
