I am trying to find a mirror solution that will work with..

Or-Fab tube doors and AEV's Snorkle.

I had to remove my RR mirror relocation brackets because they dont work with the AEV snorkle

I cant use mirror mounts that go in the door hinge because i am using them for the tube doors.

It seems i have 4 options so far.

1. Buy a second set of factory mirrors and also buy or-fabs mirror mounts for the tube doors. (only works with factory mirrors)

2. Modify the RR passenger side mirror bracket so it will work with the snorkle.

3. Buy some sort of universal mirror and weld the mounting arm directly to the tube doors.

4. Try something like RR quick release mirrors (do they fit overtop the snorkle windshield bracket?)



And thats thie big question.. Do the RR quick release mirrors fit with the AEV snorkle without major modifications?

 

The factory mirrors come off by just removing two nuts ea.! So, you could install them really quick. Replacement mirrors on fleabay run $99 a pair shipped - not so bad either.

 

They dont come off that easy.. Infact its a huge pain in the ass.

The cheapest i found on e bay was $141 plus $53 shipping.

I think ill have to fab my own mirrors

Anyone know if the Rugged Ridge quick release mirrors work with the AEV snorkle?

 

There are at least two vendors on fleabay offering a set of replacement mirrors for $99.00, including shipping!

 

I have searched a few times and dont see that. Are you by any chance in the U.S? Shipping is not the same to canada the cheapest i found was 54 shipping and 140 for mirrors

The strange thing is i cant find it in my ebay search but your link works... The search on my phone doesnt work either...

This is great to find them at this cost but going this route with the mirror brackets will put the cost over $250 for the this mirror set up.

The Rugged Ridge mirrors are 50$ for the pair shipped.

I still dont know if they fit with the aev snorkle?¿?¿

 

Bicycle mirrors can be bolted directly to the doors around the tube.
