Default Discount Tire - American Outlaw & Nitto

Hey I'm Travis, I traded in my 2012 Mustang 5.0 in for a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited a few weeks ago. I love it so far and it's so much more practical. Anyways...I'm going to Discount Tire to get 17" x 8.5" American Outlaw wheels with 285/70/17 Nitto TerraGrapplers. Are there any discounts for forum members? Thanks in advance.

Just ask them if they discount for forum members. They cut 50 off a set of tires I bought a few weeks ago.

I looked everything up again. The stock set up is about 62 pounds per wheel and tire. That 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler is about 48 pounds, which isn't any different from Goodyear Duratracs of the same size. I can't find the weight of the American Outlaw wheels, so maybe i should just go with a smaller wheel size. Any suggestions? I've been looking through threads all day trying to find other options.

They look awesome! I just think they're going to be to heavy, I PM'd DiscountTire to find out the weights for me.

He will be fine those tires only weigh 47 lbs each and the BFG Mud-Terrains that come from the factory on the Rubicons weigh 48 lbs each.

My 315/70/17 Duratracs weigh 60 lbs and my 2012 JKUR does fine
