5x5 bolt pattern 17"x9" going to use my exsisting tires until I upgrade my suspension and decide on either 33's or 35's...it's all about wife agro and spending too much money too soon...

My question is, 9" wide enough to handle a 12.5" tire? Im just preparing for the future...but sold my old hardtop from my TJ and was going to use the cash to buy my wheels and just gradually buy the rest of my many mods to come...
