Default Lift help...

I have a stock 2008 2 door 6-speed manual Rubicon, getting ready for a lift, tires and rims.. I have a couple of questions.

1. Will a lift screw with my sway bar disconnect feature of my Rubicon?

2. I want to level the front. My local off-road shop wants to install a 4" front by 2" rear (Pro Comp in believe) kit. I am concerned about the 4" up front... Would I be asking for driveline/geometry problems?

3. This is my DD, which I also off-road regularly... What lift would YOU recommend for 33-34 inch tires?

Thanks in advance!!

1. Not positive (as I don't have a Rubi) but I'm pretty sure No, it will not screw it up
2. Rake is only 1/2". Most kits will put 1" higher in front and the average will take out this rake. I put on a Teraflex lift and it naturally took out the rake, so I would not do this. Go with a 3" lift and ad 1" spacers to the front worse case.
3. See my specs below. I'm on an unlimited and even when I only had 2.5" of lift for the first year and a half, I started to scrape my driveshaft on the skid plate. The Teraflex lift has been really nice for off-roading but the on-road ride has been too rough for me. I'm not sure if its shocks/springs or something else. They have a great reputation but I'm looking to swap mine out. if interested, we're not too far. all you need though for 33's/ 34's is a 2.5" lift and you'll clear just fine.

Your can run a TeraFlex 2.5" kit for those tires with no problems. The kits come with new rear links, then you move the stock rears to the front. The coil kit lifts the front 3.1" and 2.1" in the rear.

Go with the teraflex 2.5 coil lift. It will not let you down. I'd stay away from pro comp

I would recommend a simple leveling kit for 33 or 34's. You can basically run them on your stock set up. With this kit, you will not need to worry about drivelines, trackbars, bump stops or swaybar links

Anybody add Bilstien 5100's to the TerraFlex kit? Or ate "their" shocks just as good?
