Default Mopar Heat Hood - Air vents???

So I just installed the painted Mopar Heat hood, like the AEV just with no vents.

Is there a kit to cut and install the vents? Love the hood and only got it because the deal was something I couldnt pass up but now need to find out about the vents and a new Rubicon sticker... It looks naked!

I'm not sure about a kit - I would call AEV and ask them, if anybody has it - they would. I know you can buy the mesh for the cut-outs, and there is a template that you can get from the installation instructions from the AEV snorkel that has the cut-out for you to trace onto a hood.

Here is the installation instructions on Quadratec's website with the template in it: http://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Installation/97602.pdf

Hope that helps.

Default Mopar Hood

I was just asking my dealer about these to see if I could swap my stock hood out for the AEV one and get a core refund back for the original but I don't think its going to happen. They wanted $1399 for the hood painted and installed and an additional $21 for each Rubicon sticker. I think I'm going to pass on this since the AEV hood is available painted for much cheaper online. For a few hundred dollars' savings and no core refund for trading in the stock hood, I'd rather order it and do the install myself.

If it were possible this would even be cool to do on a regular stock hood..
