Default Shock travel lengths

May be a dumb question but I don't know the answer so I'm going to ask it anyway. I bought my 10 unlimited slightly used with a RC 2.5 spacer kit already installed. My question is, if I get aftermarket shocks now, will the same shocks still be usable if I upgrade to the RK 3.5 kit? I like the bilstein 5100's and the RK website recommends 17-29" front and 17-27" in rear...... Will those same shocks work ok with my 2.5 or would they be too long?

That would depend on how far your brake lines are extended mostly. I did something similar at one point and only ran into issues once I got above 4.5"

I would definitely get the lengths for the rk lift if your going that route.
just take care to cycle your suspension before going out wheeling with yer new shocks.
because your probably going to need to adjust your bumps at full stuff, and brakes lines at full droop.
