OK, after I lifted my JK. I noticed that both front and rear pumpkins are greasy from fluid leak. I took it into the dealer today and just got it back.
On the explanation form it said" Axle seepage is normal, only dripping fluids are covered under warranty" WTF?!
The other crazy thing is that I bought it in for them to fix the axle pinon SQUEAK TSB. And they ended up replacing front brake pads and calipers under warranty. I have 8K miles and I guess that was a bonus.
After talking to the GM I now have to bring it in again for the TSB and the seepage issue repair.
Since when is fluid seepage "Normal"?

I know ours did, but it was because the RTV bead didnt make it all the way around the cover.....sucked water right in.
put warn diff gaurds on front+rear 44's in my rubicon, both leaked, pulled both covers to reseal should have took pictures of terrible job of applying sealant to cover, when ready to change diff oil highly recomend all JK owners reseal covers, make sure you use a grey silicone sealant(readily avail at most parts stores) and dealership will never know you resealed(except NOT leaking)also in my experience as a heavy truck mechanic highly recomend let silicone cure 2-3 hours prior to refilling diff+driving
