I Love wheeling in general, but for me there's something special about night wheeling that really gets me. Anyone else here like that?
By the way, just got back from converting my army buddy to the jeep world. We went wheeling behind my church and he loved it. Now he wants a jeep

We got 18 rigs on our last night run. It was my first chance to play with my new GoPro Hero 2 so I put together this video. Sorry, I used some copywrited music so youtube doesn't allow mobile but it is better on a big screen anyway.

That's a nice vid! I didn't even think about the heat, although its been a steady 104 for the last 2 weeks up here in Kentucky. I do think it makes easy obstacles look harder though, because of the obvious lack of sun. Kinda gives it that "cool" factor.

Driving out in the forest in Grizzly country- gets kind of freaky... the shadows on the trees and such start messing with ya... 18 rigs would change that though for sure, but with just one set of lights... it's a little odd. IF the trail is covered with steams and water the reflections get wild too. It is cool when you drive through a stream and see the fish darting out of it at night.
I always remember a scene in an a 70's movie with a big skinless-bear that attacked a jeep in the trees at night... LOL I was a kid when I saw it... scared me to death everytime we would wheel at night for at least 2 or 3 years my hair would all stand up on my neck! Don't remember the movie... but it was a B movie... but the whinning of the 4x4 and the lights... and it was of course topless... and well... I was a kid lol. ..
I do enjoy the trails above timberline at about 1am... no top... the stars are amazing!
