Default Teraflex 4" FlexArm w/ 38x15.50 tires - what back space?

I have a stock 2010 JK Unlimited Sport. I plan on installing the Teraflex 4" FlexArm kit with flat fenders and Toyo Open Country MT 38x15.50r16.

The wheels I'm looking at are the ProComp Rock Crawler 152 16x10 4" back spacing

I'm thinking that if teraflex recommends 4.5" BS with a 37x12.50 tire then I would need to get 1" wheel spacers to be at 3" BS

Is that right? Will this combo work?

bonus question... it's an auto so should I go 5:13 or 5:38. It's a DD with weeklyish offroad use

From personal experience I wouldn't run 38's on a D30 cuz mine didn't hold up with 37's. But if you do at least sleeve the tubes and gusset the C's. I would also suggest not going any lower than 5.13's with anything smaller than D60's and I know a lot of people agree.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm definitely looking at adding sleeves and c gussets for the front... especially since it's not that expensive compared to the rest of the setup.

Cool

Don't get me wrong since I love my 37's but I myself can't imagine a daily driver with 35's, 37's let alone 38's. It's a pain in the a$$ getting in and out of it. Not sure how long my knees would last if I drove mine every day

But damn bitchen in the rocks

Enjoy which ever way you go

And don't forget the part if your Jeep thinks about a hill let alone has to go up one while on the freeway Can you say dog Where's the Hemi?... must be one here somewhere...

5:38's would be better than 5:13's except for the part about breaking them

I hear you man, good thing for me is the only hills here in FL are highway over passes. I'll have to get another toy later on if I want something with some speed... the wife is gonna love that idea
