Default Jeep Lift

Hey Jeep lovers! Im about to purchase my first 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and need some help. Of course I've already started researching what I can do to it and need to start out with a lift and tires. I work downtown so I need something that's great on the road but I love the aggressive look. How big of a lift can I get both aggressive and smooth riding? How big of tires can I get for the same as well? I'm inexperienced and need everyone's personal opinions! Look forward to hearing from everyone!!

Got 4WD 2.5" lift that is made by ProComp. 35x12.5 Dick Cepek FC II tires and JKS front track bar. Anything more than 1" on the 2012, you have to put extensions on your Y-pipe because of drive shaft clearance issues. Got those off amazon for about $40. Tires are great. Lift turned out to be about 3.75" with ok ride. Anything more than 2" lift, you'll need to change front track bar.
