Default 2DR Lift Questions/Adivce

I am in need of a little info/ advice from some people that have done what I'm thinking about doing. I have a 2 dr sport that is my DD, it currently has the following upgrades.

o 2.5" Budget Boost lift by TeraFlex
o 35" tires
o BW flat fenders
o Evo C2 Axle gussets on my Dana 30

This is how it sits now

I have had this set up for over a year now and i wheel it frequently with much success. Although I am happy with the way if rides as is I'm not happy with the height. So my questions are:

oWhat lift should I go with to gain just a little more height?
o If I go with a 3.5" or 4" would I need to replace both DS?

Keep in mind that I live in south Florida we don't do any rock crawling or climbing just trail riding in the woods with lots of muddy trails and water fording through the swamps. No flexing. Thanks in advance for any input you might have.

Here are a few shoots of the deep water we have in our woods!

I would suggest staying with Teraflex and looking at their 3 and 4 inch lifts. Since their lifts are upgradeable from their BB lift to the 4in lift. Any lift over 3in and you're going to have to replace the DS. You won't need to right away but its inevitable the boot will get pinched and you'll be slinging grease.

Ok thanks I'm gonna look into the TeraFlex 4" lift.

Reason I asked about the DS is I see so many JK's on my local streets with what had to be at least 4" lifts and i have a hard time believing that all these people changed out the DS. I mean it's obvious these people don't wheel their rigs because its like the soccer mom driving around all the kids you know.

What is the best more affordable brand or place to order new DS?

Your stock shafts will last a little a while but once you do any wheeling with mild flex you'll rub the front shaft on your exhaust pipe. I ordered mine through Northridge and got Coast front and rear. JE Reel makes quality drive shafts from what I have read as well as Tom Woods but with the TW you need to specify that you want them to use Spicer joints. I'm sure others will chime in with their opinions.

Not sure if this helps... but I found this lying around on the forum:

"For a 4" lift, you should have a set of 4" coils, bump stop extensions, longer shocks, extended brake lines, longer sway bar links, adjustable front track bar, adjustable rear track bar, front and rear track bar relocation brackets, dropped pitman arm, adjustable upper and lower control arms front and rear and new double cardin u-joint style drive shafts."
