Default Air Intake for 2012 JK

Hello everyone. I am looking for a quality air intake for my 2012 JK, because the motor is new there are not as many options. K&N does not make one. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I know Banks, Airaid and Ripp all make one for the 12. I'm thinking of getting one a well.

I have the banks and love it. No idea if there is a performance or mpg gain since i am on my 4th different tire size in less than a year, but the sound change is amazing. Did so much more for the sound than the mbrp exhaust i had and sold.

I have the Banks Ram air and like it a lot. I know they have a sale right now on the Stinger Package which comes with the Intake and Exhaust.

I have the AFE CAI on my '08 and love it! Nice sound and gained a couple HP. Not sure if they have come out with a '12 version yet though..

Hey guys! We have both the Airaid and aFe intakes for the '12s. Both are great kits, but I'm with WOL - the Airaid would be my preference having used them in the past on other vehicles. They always have great fit and finish, and good results in the power department as well! Shoot me a PM if there is anything I can help you out with on either of these kits.

I like the AIRAID and the shielded box concept to protect the filter without going to a snorkel. I'll probably go with the Banks myself with the matching exhaust since they are made for each other and I will definitely be avoiding all water holes as I usually do. Although I do play in sand at the beach alot and find sand all under the hood after... Decisions, decisions...
