Default Converting steel rims to beadlock rims

I have heard that steel wheels can be converted to beadlock rims. How can this be done?

You weld on a ring w/ bolt holes so you can bolt on the clamping outer ring. Google "weld on beadlock ring".

How is the wheel for balancing afterwards. I can make all the parts as I have access to a Cnc laser so could make any designs I want. But I am worried about the balancing since I would be doing this on my only set of wheels.

Place called DIY Beadlocks. They will make any design you want. Balance is no problem if you do a good job welding. Don't forget to check for leaks.

Cool. I guess I'm going to have to make some designs and cut them out. I have an idea for making sure the welds are evenly spaced and uniform. My old shop makes the bead lock plates for TMR customs so I have seen how thick the material is.

I've been looking into them. Only issue i've read the people have is the balancing after they are finished. But i think it all comes down to preparation and if you know how to weld.
