Default Best 34-35" commuting on road tire

I have 5.38s and 37s.

Situations dictate my wife needs at least a 5 seater more often than not. Don't want to trade in her convertible so instead of buying a 5 seater I want to buy tires that will work for her city commute stuff. When we Offroad I will have to throw the 37s on.

Appreciate your suggestions!

Looking for low price too. Offroad capability is not necessary.

Have you looked at the BFG TA/KO?
They are a great DD road tire and you will get a ton of miles out of them

I currently run the TA/KO and have to say they are pretty good. Low road noise and don't look terrible like some of the old all terrain tires of the past. Running 15" rims.

Plus, those tires come factory on all H2s in 315/70r17 so you can probably find a used set on craigslist or ebay pretty easily.

i dont know what the "best" are, but i have a set of 35'' goodyear duratracs im pretty happy with for an all around kinda tire. they do very well on road. very quiet, very comfortable ride. i cant attest to their longevity because i only have about 4k miles on them, but they seem to be wearing well for the milage i have put on them.

i purchased them because after a lot of reading here and on other forums they seemed to be the most popular choice for a good a/t.

I have the KO's as well. About 10,000 into them. Very happy with the purchase. If you can't find any used, look up prices online and most tire places will match.

My vote is BFG AT tires too. Had them on the ex's truck and they are good all year.

BFG T/A KO has my vote. Not a bad price either. Pays off to have a 15" wheel. Looks like $201 a tire. I paid a good bit more for a set of 315x70x17s.

The Duratracs are not much more so either way you can't got wrong.

From my own searching, folks also speak highly of the Falken Wild Peak / Rocky Mountain's road manners.
