Default Rock Krawler HD Drag Link with 2.5" lift

Would the RK drag link work with a 2.5" lift? The RK site says it's for 3"-6" lifts, so I'm worried I won't be able to adjust it short enough. Does anyone have experience with it and a 2.5" lift? Did it fit? No rubbing anywhere, etc? It's going to be either this drag link, or another OEM drag link, as nothing else is available for shorter lifts

PS. I'm planning to run it in stock configuration, that is under the steering knuckle.

I'd give Rock Krawler a call. I run the RK HD Draglink but I have the flip and 3.5" lift

I believe that they recommend the 3.5" lift if you are going to do the flip. If you don't flip it then I believe it will work. As mentioned above, Call RK on Monday, they'll set you straight.

Subscribed! I'm in the same boat. I need to replace all my tie rod and drag link ends. Looking for good upgrades as I am only running 2.5" lift now but eventually............ So I want to upgrade this area since I've got to shell out some coin anyway.

Anyways, after some more searching the great knowledge of internet, it seems like this will work fine on a 2.5" lift (confirmed by RK on one of the forums). I already placed an order for the RK drag link, and can report in a couple of weeks after the install, if anyone cares. At the same time got Syn. Suspension ball joints and tie rod, and a couple Moog tie rod ends for the drag link. The spending just never ends But the steering should be bullet proof after this

If you don't mind what was your bottom line here? I'm thinking of doing the same set up. Why not RK tie rod? Did you order this stuff from one place? If so, where? Thanks.

Bottom line was $800 + $60 shipping from Quadratec. The Moogs I got from ebay for $44 for both. I was torn between RK tie rod and the Syn tie rod, and really could have gone either way. The RK is $6 cheaper when you add the cost of tie rod ends, and replacements are about $8 cheaper each. But the Syn is adjustable without having it to remove from the Jeep. It is also thinner. Now this could seem like a negative, but I figured it's better to have it thinner just in case I have clearance issues with steering stabilizer or what not. Also there were cases of Moogs not fitting into the RK tie rod, because they were bent from the factory, and Syn came already installed with tie rod ends (also from a 1 ton truck), so it's another small plus. But in all fairness, it was sort of a coin toss between the 2. I'm sure both are great products.

I got the RK draglink and the the Moogs fit perfectly. I have an AEV flip kit and a Currie Tie Rod: which I should have got a RK Pro which uses the same Moogs as the drag link.

For the RK drag link I haven't heard of any fitment issues. It's the tie rod that had this problem, and it states on RK site to only use Mopar OEM replacements for the ends. That problem could be old now as there is no way Moog would keep producing bent tie rod ends... hopefully.

I don't Think RK omitted Moogs because of some problems. Their site predates the early problems. Their should not be any figment since the stock (crap) tres have the same dimensions as the Moogs. Maybe they just put OEM so not to endorse a particular manufacture and they are cheap and readily available?
