Default homemade middy bumper

following in the footsteps of the "DIY" pioneers before me, i wanted to shorten up my bumper, but not as stubby as some of the ones i had seen. so i stuidied many of the posts from woods, redrockjk, ruskin, and rubidozer to get some ideas and fired up the dremel, i didn't have to cut any steel, just hollowed out the very ends of the bumper and scored it on the inside and folded it back. cut off the extra and welded the seams and i am happy with the out come!!
now i need to incorporate a winch

Not bad.

Is there a reason you only have one windshield fog light?

Damn.... I'm glad you did that. I've been considering the same thing for a while now as I just don't want to go full stubby, but hate the full width of the bumper. I had noticed that you could go mid-width and not have to cut the metal bumper. Looks great! I'll be doing mine soon now.

I don't do alot of night time wheeling, but my 10 year old son, whos name
happens to be KC saw the lights on another jeep and thought it would be cool to have his name right in front of where he sits.
I was surprised that KC doesn't make the classic yellow light cover in hard plastic, only in a soft boot?

It is not hard to do, i am not very mechanically inclined, but the dremmel and a soldering iron did the trick. if i can do it, anybody can!

Not a bad look. Maybe you could find something to go over the ends, some kind of a cap or something to cover the scars.
