Default Gear/tire size opinions

I have an auto JKU with 3.73s and a 2.5" RK max travel suspension...upgrading the tires and wheels soon.
Questions:
A) How hard will 35s be to turn without regearing? There are some steep hills going in and out from where I live and I don't want to have to creep 5 mph up the hills to get out day after day
B) Will the AEV savegres rub the rear swaybar links?

What year is your rig?

If you have a 2012/13 I suggest you review this thread.

Even if you have an older jeep the above link will be helpfull.
07-11 generally people with 35's go with 4:88 or 5:13
12/13 you should go with 4:56 or 4:88

I'm going to guess that your JK is not a 2012 since you became a member in 2011. Plus if you had a 2012 you would not have an issue with 35s and 3.73

My JK started out with 4.10s but I had her weighted down with lots of mods. I had no problem driving up fairly steep hills but you may speaking of steeper than what I drove on. I took my JK to Pigeon Forge, TN and there are some pretty good hills along that route. The only catch was I had to have my overdrive off at all times.

3.73s aren't 4.10 but I think with your overdrive off it will be bareable.

No, you will not be creeping 5mph. You'll be passing at will if you understand what transmission gears are and how to shift them. You don't need to regear, unless you have extra cash to burn and like to weaken your r&p.

Per this link,
Calulators from www.4Lo.com

If you have 31 inch tires now with 3:73's going to 35in tires will in effect lower your gear ratio to a little better than 3:21's. You will have very little torgue. On average there is a 3.5% torgue loss for every inch of tire you add. 4x3.5 = 14% loss in torgue.

Yeah its an '11. So regear not really necessary but wouldn't hurt and I could run a 33 if I was really stressing the power loss
