Default Tires Tires Tires

So I've got 3 options to get rid of my stock 245/75/16 goodyear crap.

first: Cooper ST 265.75.16 - looks better, pulls nearly as well, 750$

second: Cooper ST 285.75.16 - looks WAY better, pulls worse, also 750$ -- these are cosmetic blems...

third: rubicon wheels with BFG muds with about 5k miles - looks better, pulls nearly as well, also 750$

i pull my boat to/from the lake once or twice a year, but maybe more in 2009 if we decide to not keep the slip. I drive many gravel roads to put in canoes/kayaks. I drive to get around our farm and sometimes use my car to kill cats. (jk joke - good one, eh?)

so what would you guys do... i don't care about any options but these, i'm confused enough. these seem like 3 really good options to me. can't decide.

and i'm not above buying the 33's and saying 'oops, i'm sorry honey, i guess i need spacers/boost'

THIS is my jeep now... it needs help in the tires, yes?

Are they Cooper Discoverer STT or just Discoverer S/T? Big difference . The STT is a mud tire and the S/T is an all terrain. If you are talking the S/T go with the BFG and Rubi wheels. If you are looking at the STT, go with the 285/75/R16.

The Rubi wheels/tires would be the best option for the money.

If you go with 285/75/16 tires then you will need wheel spacers to clear at full turn. Spacers are not cheap.
