At the end of july AEV told me they will have theirs out soon. It is for sale on quadratic.com but is not on AEV's site yet.

River Raider has one for the 2012

I have been looking at putting one in mine and is the only manufacturer that I have found that makes a 2012/13 snorkel

The Rugged Ridge modular snorkel for up to '11 is already marketed. They're working on minor changes to make it fit the '12 .

It can be either a regular height snorkel, or short. A very good idea, and I'm waiting for the '12 version.

Worth checking --

You will still have to cut the fender for the rugged ridge snorkel. I am avoiding the AEV snorkel because cutting the hood presents a larger issue if I ever want to take the snorkel off. The fender cut is small and easier to conceal.

Default I've been lookeing into snorkels

RUGGED RIDGE

[EDIT] CORRECTION:: I talked to Vin, the guy with the pictured RR snorkel, you can use the wiper blades. It is hard to clean them. That could be an issue if they were iced up [/EDIT]
I don't think that these are availabe for the 3.6L engines (2012+). I've run across what I think is a red flag with the pre-2012 models. With the air ram arm option on it looks like it doesn't allow you to use your windshield wipers??? That seems to be a major design flaw. Am I wrong? I would think you would most likely need your wipers when you need a snorkel. I'm just basing that off a post on another forum. Here is a picture below.

VIN STATED: My only dislike so far is that the windshield wiper is trapped under the snorkel. You really have to bend it to get it out as opposed to some bending with the windshield mounted lights.
To be fair I'm not sure you really need the air ram. I think just having the small cowl location would take care of the splashes that would make you hydro-lock. I mean if your over the hood with water your going to start to get your electronics wet. Being that most of the tubing is on the inside of the engine I would think it would work less well as a cold air intake vs something like the AEV. I bet still both systems get slightly less mpg after install? I found it kind of funny that they say that it being able to lower the windshield was a sell feature . The air ram also slightly blocks your view, but not too bad.

AEV
Other options to look at are the AEV( also sold as Mopar) being sold currently on Quadratec now for the 2012's. I'm pretty sure that this one is molded around the antenna. It allows 80% more air flow then the previous version supposedly[EDIT: On the AEV forum an admin Dave stated that 80% info was not accurate. Something along the lines of it only being 80% larger at the opening or something like that].
AEV Conversions 40306160AA - AEV Snorkel Kit with Ram Air for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec
Looks like someone photoshoped this one pretty bad right were it bends into the air ram.

This is a picture with the pre-filter option(on the older version) that removes dust.

The pre-filter option requires you to dump the bowl to clean it every once in awhile. The pre-filter option is made by Donaldson. They also have another filter that you can put on there called "TopSpin" .
LINK-> http://www.donaldson.com/en/engine/s...ary/000207.pdf
That filter does not need to be cleaned and just dumps it out as it goes alone. That can be a problem in itself if you have the windows open/doors off. On another forum dvdsjk stated this (his was a pre 2012 model)
AEV said the Donaldson bowl in their kit is H001249 and looking at the Donaldson chart it transfers to part #H002437 Spinner pre cleaner.
You can also get AEV china knock-off's from ebay for about half the price. From what I have read the plastic is not as sturdy, and I doubt they would work with the 2012's. Those don't come with instructions, but use the same template that you can get off the AEV site. Some people have said that you need to offset it as much as 3/8".

RIVER RAIDER makes a couple versions
1)JK Cast Snorkel
This doesn't allow you to keep the factory antenna location.

2)JK Expedition Snorkel

This seems like a pointless option unless you like the chimney look

EXTEND BREATHERS

I created a quick write-up about how to extend your breathers .

It's pretty quick, easy, and cheap to do ($15).

My understanding is that you can in fact use the wipers, but you are unable to lift the wiper to clear debris like snow or ice.

Yes, wipers work, but may be a bit of an issue if you want to lift it to clear ice. Didn't think of that one! Don't care, its a nice piece and looks good! Install is easy, as everuthing fits like its supposed to. Instructions are A1 !

Default I made corrections to my post. Thanks

Thanks for setting me straight about the RR snorkel. I also confirmed that with vin, the guy who's post I mentioned. I added some edits above were it points out my mistakes.

I also created a quick write-up about how to extend your breathers.
