wicked flex yet still a DD??
Im about to Deploy again but this time i'll actually have $15k to dump into my Jeep and I know i want Chromoly 35 spline rear w/ Arb but the front can i turn the D30 into a D44 since they pretty much use the same housing? but if not where could i find a good decent priced D44 w/ 35 spline RCV shafts and arb? I think i've decided on 37" BFG KM2s and want a lift with some rather extreme flex so either the Rock krawler or the EVO coil over kits so i was wondering who has experiance with which and how much lift do you suggest? I am getting CV drive shafts so that wont be an issue? I would look all this up my self but its getting down to crunch time on goin wheels up and i wont have time to really reasearch while im over there. Thank you for all your help.

With 37's I would look into a Dynatrac ProRock 44 or a Teraflex 44 front axle. The stock Rubicon 44 has the weaker tubes and inner c's like the Dana 30. I would also look at Reid outer knuckles at the same time, this will give you higher steering linkage and more strength for the 37's. The other things you are going to need to do are reinforce the track bar brackets and steering, JKS makes a kit to brace the front track bar frame mount and steering sector shaft.
Here is a list of what I would do
Evo Lever Kit
Adjustable Control Arms (I prefer Claytons)
Flat Flares (I like the PSC Crusher Flares, but cut stock would work and put your money in the driveline and suspension first)
Pro Rock 44 Front (make sure you get the one for the conventional carriers.
Track Bar Frame Bracket and and Steering Sector Shaft Reinforcement
Raised Steering Stabilizer
Pinch Seem mod
I would look to be in the 3.5" to 4.5" range with the flat flares and pinch seem trimmed to keep center of gravity lower. If you stay with factory flares you will need a little more lift.
I am writing this off the top of my head so I may have to edit and add anything i may have forgotten about.

For 40's I would start to look at Dana 60's, but at that point the price goes way up. Unless you plan on mall crawling then the Dana 44's will take 40's no problem. I would stay in the 37 to 38 range on the aftermarket Dana 44's
get a 5.3L V8 and 6L80E transmission from a wrecked Chevy truck and get the install from MoTech and you will have a much cheaper option. I loved my Hemi Ram but that is one expensive swap for the JK.

I just hope you don't break it on the side of a mountain. Can get really expensive getting help in the middle of nowhere.
