Default What lift is right?

I have a 2008 sahara I bought when i got back from deployment, its currently on 33" tires, Ive been working on performance mostly paying little attention on the lift until now.
Im new to the lifting side of things. I have been looking into a few different lift kits and i am pretty sure i want to go with the Taraflex 4" long arm suspension kit but there is a lot that goes into it i didn't know.
I want a 4" suspension lift, but I want to know if I should get shocks with them and if I do will i be able to add on to the kit? I like the thought of the gas filled shocks to prevent overheating and keeping a smoother ride when driving off road. But i also dont know if i will have to extend my brake lines or anything else if i put a 4" on my jeep.
over all I am looking for a 4" lift that wont deteriorate in quality in time. If anyone has any suggestions as to what i should get that has worked for them or someone they know it would save me a headache and id appreciate it.

I went with the 4" Teraflex kit. I also upgraded to the Fox remote resi shocks. I couldn't be happier. Kit is super beefy. Ride is good especially off road and their customer service is fantastic. It did add more than 4" of lift however, I can't say anything bad about any other lift but I am very pleased with mine.

Teraflex has FREE Elka shocks with their 4" Long Arms right now.

TeraFlex has some great lifts, and have a great following here on the forum.

They're normally $1200 extra option.

You should hop on it if you've got the money for the lift.

I would, but I'm a broke ass college student driving a Jeep, so most my mods are limited to bedlining stuff.

The SpeedBumps are amazing. I love riding over parking lot speed bumps in my Jeep. There's a little hop to it. My neighbor has the Speed Bumps, i can take those parking lots and never slow down. It is just beautiful with those things. Big pot holes as well. Very nice addition.

You can't go wrong with teraflex or rock krawler. Buy a high quality lift and be done with it
