2010 JKU 4" lift... went rock crawling etc. this past weekend. Now the steering feels "funny". It's a little loose while centered but corners fine. I thought I might have gotten "death wobble" this morning on the way to work when I went over a set of railroad tracks. Is it possible I knocked it out of alignment? I don't notice anything obvious underneath..... I'm thinking maybe it needs to have the tow moved back in.... any advice is appreciated.

What would loose ball joints/tie rod ends feel like?

 

Can the tow be affected on these by wheeling though?

 

Yes. I would have the toe checked ( toed in ) is best. Happened to me just recently.

FIXED...for later readers.... it was a loose lower track bar bolt. Tightened it back down and the JKU is back to 100%.
