'12 lift, tires vs warranty
Given the current potential problems with the '12 "AA" heads I have been very leery about lifting my new JKU. My reason being a fear of Chysler voiding my warranty due to the potential mileage variation caused by bigger tires than factory. I've considered the AEV procal to correct the mileage but I fear Chrysler could find reason to void the warranty because the computer has been modded. Knowing that I will most likely not experience any problems with the head for a while but I'd like to be assured that the parts and labor for the head will be covered once it goes bad. Do I have to just wait it out until the potential problem arises or can I go ahead with the mods and the head problem still be covered? The mods on my list are a TF 2.5" spring lift, RK front track bar and 305/70r17's.
It's really going to come down to how mod friendly the dealer is. If you do eventually develop the head issue, Chrysler would be hard pressed to prove a problem that is already documented was caused by your unrelated mod, but that doesn't mean the dealer can't try to fight you on it.
That being said, lift it, wheel it, and have fun. The vast majority of of these engines do not have a problem. And do get a Procal, as your odometer at the very minimum needs to be correct.

It's a fear of being too broke to fix it!
Right, that seems to be the general idea.. Worry about it when and if it comes.
I'd love to hear from an actual dealership on this subject... Are there any of you dealer service guys out there paying attention?

Pro comp just launched a new thing called lift shield that gives you a power train warranty free with the purchase of participating lifts. It covers engine, tanny, transfer case and axle and gears in case the factory voids your warranty because of a lift. It's an option. Not sure about the details as they just released it.

I've gone with TF before and I've always been happy with the suspension and shocks. I've had the procomp shocks and I can tell you the TF shocks are much better.
