I just inherited a set of Dana 60s
So I just inherited a set of Dana 60s off of a 2000 Ram 2500 and I have a few Questions.
-First and most importantly, would it be worth mouting them up? I know it will take alot of fabrication but I figure it's alot cheaper than buying a set.
-I have heard things about the turn radius being crap on the newer Dana 60s, is this true?
-Would I be able to mount abs sensors to these or will I have to deal with the light?
-I guess the big question is, other than having to weld new brackets on these, what other problems am I going to run in to?

I don't suppose you could point me in the right direction? I have searched this forum high and low and finding this swap by searching "Dana 60" is like finding a needle in a haystack. Thanks if you can.
I wanna end up on 40s with a Evo Lever and a Double Throw down. So this will just be another step along the way. I have already sunk money into my D30 to allow me to run 35s without sagging and I don't wanna sink anymore money in the axles I have, knowing that I will eventually need to swap out to 60s for the bigger tires.

Ok, so I must be retarded or something, I have searched high an low through this forum and so far have only found mention of Solid axles making a conversion to allow the abs/esp to be kept. I can't seem to find such a part on their website and that only fixes one of my problems if it is true. Then the question comes in, what about clearance issues? Seems to me most everyone is using the Ford Dana 60. Is this because of availability or is there something wrong with the Dodge? Am I going to have problems with the front axle housing being too close to the frame rail? It seems to me, the farther I go with this Jeep, the fewer and fewer people there are that know what there doing. Must just be because fewer people have gone this far.
