Default tires, tires and tires oh my

Hey guy's,
I'm trying to figure what tire to buy from the 2 types of Nitto's that i'm eyeing. The first on is a 37" Trail Grappler and the other is a 37" Mud Grappler. i would like to know which of these two have the longest tread life? Which one do you prefer and can you give me any pointers on them?
Thanks

Youll get more miles out of the trail graps. The mud graps are heaver and very loud on the road, but they perform better offroad. It all comes down to what type of wheeling you do and how often you get out.

In general the more aggressive a tire is, the less tread life it will have.

X2 trail grapplers will last longer and be more road friendly, and are still very good offroad

The Mud Grapplers are very loud, even by mud tire standards, and wear quickly.
