I want to beef my front axle (d30) before larger tires. I'll probably go with the nitro sleeves and Evo C gussets. Question is...I've got a flux core welder that I've used for years rated for 3/16" steel. Is it possible for me to do the gussets using my welder? I'm thinking gussets (and possibly Evo lower control arm skids) wouldn't go anywhere even without maximum penetration. Any thoughts??

If you want full penitration. Bevel the edges a little bigger and do mulitpule passes till you fill it up. Make sure that it is clean and clear of any left over flux before you start your next pass. Also make sure that the area doesn't get crazy hot or you will end up annelling the surrounding areas.

Good Luck
