Default How can i run 35's without a lift?

I Have a 2010 2dr Sport and I want to run 35" tires. Any ideas? Thoughts? Pros and Cons? Pics please if anyone has done this (and I'm sure some have) I am already running 33's w/Bushwacker flat fender flares. Thanks Jeep Nation!

trim your fenders and pinch seam and you're pretty much good to go.

EDIT: i read too quickly and now see that you already have bushwacker fenders. you should be able to trim your pinch seam and go.

With the Bushwackers 315/70/17s will fit, I have them on my unlimited with no lift. No problems.

You are the Man! Thanks for the help & your quick answer! Any suggestions for axle upgrades or anything else? Running stock axles and gears (3.73) and Rancho RS7000MT shocks. Thanks again

with just 35's, you should be good to go with just gussetting up your axle c's. if you play hard, you'll eventually end up breaking a front axle shaft at the u-joint (more than likely a driver side shaft) and, i would just replace it at that time with a chromoly shaft with a full circle clip. aside from that, just get out and have some fun

I can fit 35in tires on my stock suspension right now but exactly what you mentioned has me looking at 34in narrow tires like 285/75R17 or 255/80R17. My thinking is those sizes in KM2.

Thanks again for the detailed info.

just because you can fit it doesn't always mean it's a good thing to do or, that you won't have rubbing issues. these are the things trimming your fenders and pinch seam will help address. narrow tires won't change this and a 285 is really more like an advertised 33". remember, advertised tire height is the only thing guys like me will refer to when talking about lift's - NOT "actual" tire height.

i'm partial to evo gussets but, they'll all get the job done.

One last question ( I know, I'm a pain in the ass ), any advice on how much to cut? Any links to a "how to" thread?
