Default Gate wont stay closed

Hey everyone so I just put my hardtop back on my 09 jku and when I'm driving now the gate indicator light comes on tellin me the gate is open. The only thing different from last year is that I now have linex in the tub and over the rail. With the soft top I had the linex too and it never made a peep. I tried to lock the gate and it lasted a while until I hit a speedbump... Then it popped back out.

Also note I have a rugged ridge dud tire carrier so there is no tire on the gate

This ever happen to anyone? Any suggestions?

I will say the linex made it a bit hard to close magnate after...but it was fine withthesoftyop

Bump for help?

Today I closed the gate and without pressing the button I could pull it back open a tad. Enough to set off the sensor

I think it has something to do with the latch. It closes fine and slides out as if its coming off a latch. Ill take photos maybe someone will stumble upon and notice something off

Sounds like the latch needs adjusting.
