I am looking at duratrac 305/70/16 33x12.5 and pro comp 7069 16x8 can i mount a 12.5 in wide tire on 8 in rim?

Sure can. Some even mount 12.5" on 7.5" factory wheels. Most tire manufacturers recommend 8.5" minimum for a 12.5" wide tire.

I'd feel very comforable with 12.5" on 8" wheels.


Edit: Goodyear site suggest 8"-9.5" for a LT305/70R16 Duratrac.

you sure can its what i am running. also helps keep the wheel from losing a bead with a smaller rim if you dont have beadlocks.
