Default 17x9 with 0 offset work with 35x12.5 tires??

Looking at a set of wheels that are 17x9 but 0 offset. Will be upgrading to a 2.5 RK lift to make more room. I was just wondering if the wheels will work on 35x12.5 tires without spacers?

Not 100% sure but I believe you need a -10 offset to prevent rubbing. If thats the case, you will need spacers.

I'm pretty sure that set up will work fine. I have 33/12.50/16 with a 3.25 lift and a -6 back space and I have plenty of rub clearance

They will work perfectly fine. A 0mm Offst will actually put your tires about 1" to 1-1/2" passed your fenders or depending on the tire right at the fender so no worries.

I have a 3.5 inch lift with 35s. Runs are 18x9 XD misfits with 0 offset and I have no rubbing what so ever at full lock either way.
