Default Best RockRails or Fenders

Hey All,
Looking to replace the terrible designed rock rails on my Rubicon. I've got about 100 rocks stuck between my paint and the rails. (Yes I know I can remove them by taking out the bolts, and yes, I know there is a write-up on how to prevent this in the future, moving on...)
What, in your opinion are the best rails? I like the Shrockworks, and they're decently priced. And while we're at it, looking for metal fenders too. Who do you guys suggest?

The stock rubi rails are actually quite good. With that said, my preference are sliders that bolt to the frame and not the body. You'll hear lots of people recommend Ace. Those mount to the body.

I have and love the LOD sliders. To me, they are the best combination of looks, function and safety. And they mount 100% to the frame.

PSC makes nice ones that are kind of frame/body hybrid. I've heard rumors that they are coming out with a frame mounted set soon

Shrocks are nice as well but loooooooong wait for them.

For Fenders I went with ACE Tube Fenders...they were super inexpensive $560 for metal tube fenders and they look awesome as well!!!

The Ace are good if you don't mind how low they mount. I have them and you lose ground clearance because of them. I'm ALWAYS 'ON' my rails. They do make a great step though.

I wheeled with a guy that has the LOD. Wish I would've gotten those. They have high ground clearance and have an integrated step. On the pricey side though.

PSC are also nice, but also pricey. Plus they come bare metal so you have to pay to finish them.

I think I prefer bare metal as I'm planning to have them Rhinolined. Do the Ace fenders have integrated turn signals? What about the PSC?
And what about ARB stuff?
Anyone heard of the MetalCloak fenders?

I refuse to buy sliders that mount to the body/ pinch seam , because when you hit the hard enough , they bend the pinch seam. It was my first sliders on my rubi , and now my pinch seam is so bent any other sliders that is supposed to fit the body/ pinch seam won't work if I wanted them to. From now on , I will only use weld or bolt on to the frame ! Also beware of the ones that use the pinch seam and frame , you know the body is rubber mounted to the frame and they are supposed to move independetly of each other , possibly ripping the pinch seam ! Just my 2 cents!

I would say poison spyder for both the rails and the fenders.

When I was lookig for sliders 3 years ago, this is what was described to me so that is why I did LOD. I've seen plenty of body mounted ones hold up OK but I;ve also seen some do a lot of damage when coming down hard on rocks. Smittybilt especially. And once with Ace but the person also had Rubi sliders mounted with the Ace and it gave zero clearnace between the two sliders so when the Ace bent in, it had nowhere to go and crushed the body.

the ONLY downside to the LOD's was the install. Drilling and tapping holes in the frame was a PITA. However, these suckers aren't going anywhere!

I would call PSC and ask about frame mounted ones. Might as well wait for their newest product if its about to come out.

My buddy just pulled the Pure Jeep ones off his 2 door. He had a lot of body damage that got transfered through the sliders. Anyways he's going to go with EVO sliders now. I agree with most everyone here, body mounted sliders are a bad idea. Going to be doing something similar to the EVO's on mine but I want mine to push out from the body a little more so that they make better steps and so that I can pivot off of stuff and have a little more distance between the body and the rock/tree that the sliders on.
