Default JK Side MPAC Rack

Has anyone have experience with this. This will totally solve my clean install issue with my compressor and tank.

I haven't used this one, but I did run their tailgate set up and I found it to be top notch.

Goodness, for $230 that must be top notch. I'd go to a local fabricator and see what they could fab up or find similar pieces and piece it together.

I went to a True Value store and started mixing and matching steel sheeting. I was going to nut and bolt a bracket together. After I had everything, it was going to cost me almost $100. This was going to be less then half the size. I would love to fab something myself but at costs this high, id rather someone else do the work.

How much weight do you think it can hold? I would like to mount a 2.5 - 5 gallon tank on it. DO you think it would warp the door or start to rattle free from constant opening and closing of the door? My spare tire is not on the door so that extra weight is not an issue.

Alan did some custom work for me... his work is fantastic, and he is a fellow JK owner.

I'm not really sure. I probably ran with about 10-15 lbs on it. I did have the spare on too. I suppose you could run nutserts to make it stronger. My one real complaint is that you have to pack properly to ensure you can close the door (in other words, you have to save space for what's on the door).

With my next Jeep, I'm going to get the Tuffy security deck (I know, it's pricey) and then slot the sides so they work like a molle rack. It would be easy to do with a Dremel and you would have the benefit of the secured storage. Plus, you can remove the top and leave the sides in.
