Default How to get a softer ride in a 2 door

I have the RK 2.5" coils they were ok in my 4 door thought they would work good in 2 door after 15,000 miles but way to stiff in this 2 door way to stiff. I am going to be running there x-factor plus long arm but don't know what coils to run with it 2.5" - 3" lift was thinking maybe the evo plush coils. Any experience with these in a 2 door?
Working on factory fender cut real soon. WOL nailed it with his cut's most people think the flares are aftermarket.

I asked here a while back about the ride of different aftermarket springs. Based on the feedback, I chose some that were supposed to be an OK compromise between ride, handling, and ability to support the load. That has worked out for me but everyone has their own priorities.

Shocks also play an important part in the ride. I think adjustable shocks are a good way to go so the ride can be tuned. Stiff shocks can make you think your springs are stiffer than they actually are; weak shocks will let the springs throw you around and make you hate the ride. So far I'm using the shocks that came tuned to match my springs. Don't know how long that will last - might still go to adjustables.

I was surprised how much front lower control arms and track bars helped ride - esp as you'll get prob full 3 inches lift with those springs on 2 door

Default 3" plush

I have the 3" plush coils on my 2 door. I like them. I run Bilstein 5160s as well. The ride is pretty nice for E rated tires, in my opinion. My ride got even smoother after I installed my drag link flip. Just to let you know the EVO coils are non specific with 2/4 door. So I got about 3.5+ inches of lift out of them on my 2 door. I also have a 3/4" in spacer in the rear.

Is it true that if you stay at 2.5" or below you don't have to automatically replace your front driveshaft?

I'm looking at the AEV 2.5" kit

Thanks tring to figure if i should get the 3" or 4" coils running fabfours rear bumper with 37 on it and smittybilt front stinger bumper with winch. I am tring to make it as low as possible on 37s even my shocks are 12.8" travel going to be all drop out. The RK 2.5" springs are every bit of 4" of lift. Do you have a picture of your on flat ground?

I had a 2.5" procomp lift in my 09 jku auto and ripped my front boot. My 2012 jkur i put a drive shaft in to avoid ripping cause it flex like crazy and would have ripped it right off. And the 12 has such an angle coming out of the transfer case.
It should be fine with the aev lift
My 2 door will be set up just like my old 4 door except going long arm.

Here you go...I have a couple more in my album

I have a 3/4 spacer in the rear...I think I could run 37s with some trimmed fenders/pinch seam and a little more bump stop.
