Jeep on the beach

 

I went there one time back in 2003 I went to duck obx and it was my most favorite place ever to go on vacation and I can't wait to go back! Hope u enjoyed ur trip!

 

We island hop up the NC coast every couple of years. We had to stop in Ocracoke last year because of the Huricane

 

Its fun down there....we go every Labor Day weekend. The sand is fairly well compacted by then from the summer traffic. The winter is more interesting....LOTS of obstacles (driftwood, stumps, big sand formations) from all the winter storms and lack of traffic.

 

I'm originally from Southern Shores (in between Kitty Hawk & Duck). My parents still live there. Great beach driving up in Corolla and down in Oregon Inlet year round. Many fun times in my old 1978 CJ5 on the sand down there. Hope yall enjoy!

 

Leaving this Friday for a few days on the OBX. Beach driving is priority one.
