Default Aev heat reduction hood worth it?

My birthday is coming up ...I've asked for the aev snorkel hahha

So here's what I'm thinking...I should buy MYSELF a gift too...was thinking why not the aev hood...? Then te snorkel is a perfect fit and it looks bad ass

But is it worth it? Does it really help with eat? My jk does heat up a lot...

Anyone own and have reviews on the hood?

I do not have one myself but know them to be of high quality. Chrysler does use them on the Call Of Dutys. If you have never purchased an aftermarket fiberglass hood, be aware that most involve a lot of prep work by the body shop for paint which significantly increases costs. The AEVs are known to be ready for paint straight out of the box.

As far as heat reduction, it does have the vents that probably work, but you can get a hood louver from Poison Spyder in aluminum for cheap and get the same results.

I love the look of the hood. I just can't get past the cost.

I have one on my 13' JKUR. Quality is top notch as well as fit.
I can't speak to the efficiency of heat reduction, as I had it installed with very low mileage but how can it not reduce heat with the built in venting?
Do it & You'll love it!

Yes the hood is steel not fiberglass so anything that would change my mind on the mod wouldn't be it's quality. It's tough and built in the USA

I'm picking mine up tomorrow... Under hood temps are 'shown' to be reduced about 5o and no more freeway flutter, plus no cutting the hood for snorkel... What else do you need?!
