Default biggest tires w/ 2.5BB and no spacers

What is the widest tire size in 33's I can run on 18" Sahara wheels with 2.5 bb lift and no wheel spacers? I am trying to avoid spacers and keep stock wheels if I can. Trying to figure is its more cost effective to go this route or just buy 17's and 33/12.5.

Ok 1st off go to a 17 the cost of your tires will cheaper and it will be easier to upgrade to a larger tire later and I believe with stockers i think you can only run an 11. Also With aftermarket 17's the backspacing will be better to run larger tires so you could actually run a 35 x 12.5 no problem with the 2.5 in bb you have.

17 inch tire would be cheaper than a 20 for sure and a 16 inch tire wood be even cheaper. 285/ will rub at full lock without spacers so with that being said if you get 17 inch rims get them with the proper backspacing.I have had spidertrax wheel spacers on 17 inch rims for about 58k now.
