So im looking a the rock krawler 3.5 midarm systems and I was wondering what the benefits are of the independent 3-link rear vs. keeping the stock setup with a proper lenght track bar?

Less bind. More flex. That about sums it up.

Check out this picture of Rock Krawlers X Factor Plus lift I have on my rig.

Look at the rear axle and also how flat the Jeep still is. If I didn't have this lift it would have been very tippy.

Look at the rear downward travel in this picture.

Hopefully this helped answer your question.

Is that really a 3.5" kit with 33's, or did you slip in the 2.5" springs?

Just did the 2.5" springs. I will be putting on 35's once I need tires again.

You obviously cant flex like thqt without disconnecting the sway bar links, correct?
I have 2.5" bb with shock extensions and 33s...can I flex like that? Taking out the extended bumpstops too.

You are correct the sway bars are disconnected. When I only had the budget boost the front didn't flex much at all. The rear had a fair amount of down travel but not much up travel.
