TF 2.5" coil llift install question
I just installed my 2.5" TF coil lift this past Saturday and it is awesome. The only problem was that the front bump stop extensions were missing from my kit. I've contacted Teraflex and they're already shipping them out to me, but my question is:
Can I install them without having to pull out the front springs?
I feel like the install went so smoothly and the ride has been so problem free that I don't really want to tempt fate by undoing anything. I know that people have said that letting them soak in some hot water for a while makes the install easier along with greasing them up a little.

Unfortunately no you can't. Even if you manage to just lower the axle and not let the spring drop, you would have a harder time trying to pop the BS in. The easiest and quickest way is to completely remove the spring to install the BS. The good thing is that you did it the first time and the second one would be a charm. Just follow the same process, double check your work and you should be fine....Congrats and post some pics when you are done....
Not to high jack your thread but I am thinking of the same kit. They only have 2 2.5 kits or is it just one? Anyway the ride is good? Did it lift the front a little higher or just level it? Wasn't sure if new control arms were needed either. Last question I promise! Any viberations or anything?? thanks for your time

The ride is great. Maybe slightly flighty at higher speeds, but not really. I would say it lifted the front more noticeably than the rear, so that it looks leveled out now and overall higher. No control arms needed with this lift.

There's really just 2 different 2.5" lifts (budget boost & coil lift) with or without shocks. I got the 2.5" coil lift with shock adapters.
